Copyright and Publishing Agreement

Please fill in this form, sign it, and send a scan with your manuscript to journal@secureailabs.org. A paper cannot go to review without it.

The author(s) agree that:

1. Originality. The paper is original. It is not under review anywhere else and has not been published before, except as a preprint, thesis or abstract that is declared in the submission.
2. No infringement. The paper contains no unlawful or defamatory statements and does not infringe the copyright, patent, trademark or other rights of anyone else. Any material from other sources is included with written permission from its owner, which the authors will keep.
3. Right to publish. The author(s) give JSCI and SecureAI Labs the right to publish, host, distribute, archive and index the paper in electronic and printed form, to assign it a DOI, and to make the changes needed for editing and typesetting.
4. Copyright and license. The author(s) keep the copyright to the paper. Published papers are open access under the license shown on the JSCI website at the time of publication, which lets others read, share and reuse the work with credit to the authors.
5. Reuse by authors. The author(s) may reuse their paper in their own work, such as a thesis, a teaching file or a personal or institutional page. When they do, they must cite JSCI as the place of first publication and give the DOI.
6. On behalf of all authors. The person signing is the corresponding author. They have the agreement of every co-author and accept responsibility for signing for all of them.
7. Ethics and policies. The author(s) have read and follow JSCI’s Publication Ethics and Generative AI Policy.
8. Publication. JSCI will publish accepted papers at no charge to authors while the no-fee period stated on its website applies. JSCI may decline or withdraw a paper that fails its ethics or quality checks. After publication, a paper can be changed only through a correction or retraction notice.
